| I left Champaign-Urbana, Illinois on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 and drove 369 miles to Lake of the Ozarks State Park in southern Missouri. In the campground, I saw this tree trunk that had been carved into a mushroom. |

| There were white tailed deer everywhere in the campground. The campground had a lot of shade! The campground bathrooms and showers were really clean! Each campsite had electricity with water nearby. The campground had a section for RVs and a section for tents. |

| I went kayaking on the lake and saw herons, a kingfisher and three otters! |
