Thursday, August 15, 2019, Boise City, Oklahoma

I drove 433 miles from Cross Timbers State Park, Kansas to Boise City in northwestern Oklahoma. All along the way were huge clouds!
I camped at this roadside RV place. It had water and electricity, but no-one there to turn them on! It didn't have a restroom either! I couldn't find anyone to pay, so I stayed there for free.

Most of western Kansas and northwestern Oklahoma look like the prairies of Illinois. I saw a red-tailed hawk and several other hawks during my drive though these prairies.
