The view from my campsite.

An interesting fact about dinosaurs.

The red things on the top of the prickly pear cactuses are  fruits which are edible, but you're not allowed to pick them in the park.
I took a hike up the hill to see the petrified wood.
A view of the reservoir from the top of the cliff.
Three petrified wood logs.
The process of changing wood to stone creates a variety of colors.
Usually, scientists can't tell what kinds of trees petrified wood came from.
This is a very unique piece of petrified wood because in the process of changing wood to stone the annual growth rings were preserved.
