10/18 Yosemite National Park, California

On Thursday, October 17th I drove 300 miles north to camp at June Lake. On Friday, I drove 40 miles from June Lake to Yosemite by way of Tioga Pass.

The weather was gorgeous!

So was the scenery!

Look at the size of my truck compared to the mountains behind it!

... a little marsh along the side of the road.

... ferns tinged by the frost.

..... beauty everywhere!

This trail led to Yosemite Falls.

The clouds seemed to be cradled by the mountains.

Mule deer along the trail.

Yosemite Falls had no water, but it was still worth it to walk through the forest.

The smell of the pine trees was worth the walk!

...a lone oak tree in its fall colors

Beauty in the Tuolumne Meadows.
