10/11 Ash Meadows - Rabbits and Full Moon

Do you see the black-tailed jack rabbit in the center of the photograph? It's hard to tell, but it's about two feet tall.

The ears of the jackrabbit are huge. They help the rabbit keep cool in the desert heat.

Can you see the rabbit now? It has good camouflage!

Regular cottontail rabbits live here too. Do you see similarities and differences between the two types of rabbits?
The full moon rising over Devil's Hole Hills!

I watched the moon for a while.
